Yi Xin TONG 

Yi Xin Tong was born in Lushan in 1988 and graduated with a Master's degree from New York University in studio art. He now works in New York. Recent solo exhibitions have been held in Shanghai Vanguard Gallery, New York's NARS Foundation, and Toronto's Museum of Contemporary Art. Group exhibitions in which he has participated have been held at the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art, the National Art Museum in Taiwan, Shanghai Museum of Contemporary Art, Central American Art Museum, Long March Space, Hanart TZ Gallery among others. Awards have included funding from the Canadian National Arts Council, a Joni Mitchell Foundation Scholarship, and a Kaohsiung Tianbian Visual Arts Award.
